Dr Claire Beale is both a Clinical Psychologist and a Paediatric Neuropsychologist, listed on the BPS register of Chartered Neuropsychologists.
She has a BSc in Psychology from Durham University (2000) and an MSc in Developmental Psychopathology from Durham University (2003). She was awarded a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Lancaster University in 2007 and a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Neuropsychology from University College London in 2013.
Claire has over 10 years experience of working in the NHS, specialising in Child Development and assessments of both Autism and ADHD. She has considerable experience of working therapeutically with both parents and children, with a particular interest in the mental health difficulties that can accompany Autism, such as OCD and anxiety.
Claire has a specialist in interest in neuropsychological assessment and regularly completes comprehensive assessments of cognition, academic attainment, memory and attention in order to inform our understanding of young people.
